The extension uses Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano AI model for on-device job scoring. When you use local AI scoring, your job data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to external servers. This provides privacy-focused scoring without consuming your cloud AI usage limits.
The extension stores authentication tokens and user preferences (such as your selected AI model) in Chrome's local storage. This data remains on your device and is used to maintain your session and settings.
When you browse LinkedIn job pages with the extension active, it reads job details (title, company, description, location) from the page to enable job scoring and saving features. This data is only processed when you actively use the extension's features.
